Maduro claims Venezuela prepared to respond to United States military visibility in Caribbean

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP)– Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on Monday claimed his country went to “maximum readiness” and all set to respond if assaulted by forces that the United States federal government has deployed to the Caribbean.

His remarks during a press conference come as the united state government today is set to enhance its maritime force in the waters off Venezuela to fight hazards from Latin American medication cartels The united state has not signaled any kind of organized land attack by the hundreds of employees being released. Still, Maduro’s government has responded by releasing troops along its coast and border with surrounding Colombia, along with by urging Venezuelans to get in a private militia.
